Jadon Sancho to Man Utd transfer latest
Manchester United are closing in on Jadon Sancho, with Borussia Dortmund willing to accept an initial £60million up front, according to The Independent.
Ed Woodward and co will still have to negotiate the remainder of the deal and how the payments are structured.
Dortmund are very clear that any deal must exceed their £100m valuation, which has lowered due to the coronavirus crisis.
Earlier in the year they were set to demand £120m from any potential buyers.
That’s why United will have to strike an agreement surrounding add-ons, which are likely to revolve around a number of variables including appearances, trophies, United’s league position and Champions League progress.

Manchester United are in advanced talks with Inter Milan over a permanent deal for Alexis Sanchez, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The 31-year-old Old Trafford flop has spent the past season on loan at the San Siro.
Mesut Ozil latest
Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil is likely to remain at the Emirates Stadium, according to the player’s agent Erkut Sogut.
“I do not think there will be a change in the case of Mesut Ozil until the summer of 2021,” Sogut told Turkish publication Fanatik.
“He has a contract. There is no change. He will remain in Arsenal.”
Nathan Ake to Man City transfer
Bournemouth have accepted a £41m bid from Manchester City for Nathan Ake, according to Sky Sports.
Seaman sends Arsenal message
Arsenal legend David Seaman has urged the club’s board to back Mikel Arteta’s vision by splashing the cash in the transfer market.
“It’s a huge game for Arsenal. We need it far more than Chelsea because we need that European place,” said Seaman.
“To end a season where we are eighth in the league and no European football is not a very good season at all for Arsenal’s standards. We really need it.
“I am so desperate for us to win it. All that desperation comes through the fact that we have not had the best of seasons and we need that European qualification.
“Not just for the club, but also to attract other players as well. I am sure Arteta has got plans to bring players in.
“I just hope the board backs him on what he wants and who he wants, because in Mikel Arteta we have got a really good manager and you don’t want to lose someone like that just because the board won’t back him or give him money to spend.
“When he first joined I was a little bit disappointed because I thought they might have gone with Patrick Vieira because of his time at the club and also his experience, he’s been a manager elsewhere.
“But when I saw his first interview I was like, ‘Woah, this guy knows what he wants’. To do what he has done, I think he has done a great job and that is why the club and the board need to back him.
“They need to buy the players he wants. He knows what he is doing, he will know what he wants and hopefully he can get those.”
Kai Havertz to Chelsea transfer
Chelsea will attempt to agree a fee with Bayer Leverkusen for Kai Havertz in the coming days.
According to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein, Stamford Bridge officials have a contract in place with Havertz and just need to agree a deal to bring him to the club.
“We know that deal is already quite far advanced because Chelsea and Kai Havertz have basically already agreed personal terms,” Ornstein said on Tifo Podcast.
“It’s now just a case of Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen trying to agree a fee so that one’s going to play out in the coming days and weeks.”
